However, we did experience some disturbances from events at the pool adjacent to our room, which affected our peace.

You’d also struggle with low water pressure in the shower, making getting clean a slow process. It’s irritating that the fan in the living room sounds like a TIE fighter, and the lack of curtains meant waking up with the sunrise—definitely not ideal for night owls. To top it off, the location necessitates a 30-minute walk to Alona Beach, which isn’t ideal unless you have a scooter or car.

The well-maintained garden added a nice touch, and the large terrace facing the pool was a delightful surprise. However, the location was a bit far from Alona Beach, requiring a 30-minute walk. This wouldn’t be an issue if you rent a scooter or car, but it limits convenience. The absence of air conditioning in the living room made it quite warm at night, impacting our overall comfort. A few appliances in the kitchen looked dated and could benefit from an upgrade. Overall, it served our needs decently but there’s room for improvement.

We enjoyed the poolside area for relaxation. However, the shower had low water pressure, which was a bit annoying. Also, since it’s located a bit far from Alona Beach, you'll need something like a scooter to make it easier to get around.

I loved the spacious apartment with a garden view, and having a swimming pool was a fantastic perk. Just be aware of occasional power interruptions. I’d definitely come back!

I had a delightful stay at Portofino Panglao Bohol. The spacious apartment with a pool view was perfect, and the staff, especially Ms. Hynee, were beyond accommodating. I enjoyed the clean rooms, lovely garden, and easy access to the supermarket just across the street.

Staying at portofino panglao bohol exceeded my expectations during a long weekend. The staff were accommodating and even arranged a motorbike for us in no time. Cooking our meals in the well-equipped kitchen was a huge plus!
